New Delhi: Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf died in Dubai after a prolonged illness at a hospital, reported Pakistan Geo News. He was 79.
General Pervez Musharraf was undergoing treatment in Dubai hospital where he breathed his last.
He had gone to Dubai in 2016 for treatment and since then he never returned back to Pakistan.
According to reports, the former military ruler was undergoing treatment for an ailment at an American Hospital Dubai.
Reports said he was hospitalised due to a complication of his ailment.

He was suffering from Amyloidosis.

Earlier in June 2022, his family informed about his health and his illness on Twitter.

The Express Tribune newspaper reported he wanted to return to Pakistan.
