Rapper PnB shot dead during robbery attempt at Los Angeles restaurant

New Delhi: American rapper PnB Rock has been shot dead at a restaurant in Los Angeles. PNB Rock, who hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the US got fame from his popular song ‘Selfish’ in 2016.

According to Los Angeles Times, the singer was immediately rushed to the hospital, wherein doctors declared him brought dead.

The incident took place at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles, wherein PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen, had visited with his girlfriend.

Reports suggest that the rapper was targeted for his jewelry and other valuables.

The shooting occurred at 1:15 pm (local time), the attacker demanded items from Mr Rock at gunpoint, Los Angeles Police Captain Kelly Muniz told.

She further said that the gunshot was followed by a verbal argument during the robbery. “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot”, she further added.
