New Delhi: The horrifying face of Taliban has emerged yet again, after a video of brutal murder of a police chief in Afghanistan surfaced the internet. The viral footage shows the blindfolded and handcuffed police chief of Badghis Province General Haji Mullah Achakzai, being shot to death by Taliban.
The video was being widely circulated on internet on Thursday, in which Achakzai was seen on his knees surrounded by Taliban fighters, who open multiple fire shots on him. Taliban has executed the police chief who had fought against the terror group, despite its vows not to retaliate against its combatants.

As per the reports, the area near Turkmenistan border was captured by Taliban last week, and had imprisoned Achakzai since then. Afghan security adviser and friend of Achakzai, Nasser Waziri, told Newsweek that Achakzai was surrounded by Taliban fighters and had no choice but to surrender.
General Achakzai was a well known name in Afghanistan, who has fought against the Taliban in spite of the long lasting conflict between Terror groups and Afghan Government.
