New Delhi: In a blood-curdling incident, at least 22 children were killed in a day-care centre in Thailand on Thursday. Reports suggest that a former policeman barged into the Day Care centre and indulged in mass shooting , leading to killing of over 30 people including 22 children.

Reports said that a former policeman was the main accused of the mass shooting and he shot himself dead after creating mayhem in the Day care centre.

The incident has shaken the country and the world community. Such mass shootings haven’t been reported in Thailand even though gun ownership is high here, as compared to fellow Asian nations in the region.

A similar incident happened here in 2020, when a soldier went angry over a disputed property deal going wrong. He killed at least 29 people and left more than 50 people injured in indiscriminate firing.
