New Delhi: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson struggled to hold his umbrella at an official engagement on Wednesday. At the unveiling of memorial for police officers who died in the line of duty, Johnson, seated beside Prince Charles and a row ahead of interior minister Priti Patel, struggled to fix his umbrella which, due to blustery conditions, had turned inside-out.
Prince Charles, the son of Queen Elizabeth, who was seated alongside Johnson could not keep himself from reacting to Boris Johnson’s predicament. The incident left everyone around him chuckling. Johnson, himself, was seen laughing at his own plight. Later he even offered umbrella to interior minister Priti Patel, prompting smiles among the three of them.
