New Delhi: Valerie Plante, the Mayor of Canada’s second-largest city Montreal collapsed itno the ground while speaking at a recently held news conference on Tuesday.
Thankfully, Valerie’s medical team immediately rushed to her aid and ensured that she was alright or not. A video of the whole incident is now doing rounds on the internet.

Following the medical scare, the Mayor decided to take some preventive measures by decreasing her workload for the next few days. She also informed that she will remain absent from the Ville-Marie borough Council meeting which is scheduled to be held on Tuesday.
Sharing updates about her recovery, took to her Twitter (Now X) and assured everyone that she has been examined by doctors and is now doing perfectly fine.

As per the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) news, Ms Plante, who was answering media questions at the conference, collapsed to the ground after speaking for about 15 minutes and Aides quickly went on to check on her. She then kept her head on Aide’s knee after which all the reporters and camera persons were requested to vacate the room.
