New Delhi: A year after its theatrical release, Raj Rachakonda’s 2023 drama 8 A.M. Metro is finally going to land on an OTT platform.
Starring Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher as the leading duo, the movie will soon become available for streaming on Zee5, allowing the audiences to access it on their personal digital screens.

8 A.M. Metro OTT Release Date Announcement
On Saturday, 8 A.M. Metro’s male lead Gulshan Devaiah himself broke the news of the film’s scheduled digital debut through his official social media handle.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a poster of the Rajiv Kumar Aneja starrer & announced that the movie will hit the leading OTT platform Zee5 on May 10, 2024.
He wrote “Yeh kahaani hai doh anjaan logon ki jo rojmarra ke safar mein bann gaye pakke dost! Dekhiye ek dilchasp kahaani #8AmMetro premieres 10th May, bilkul free sirf zee5 par.”

8 AM Metro Plot
Written by Raj Rachakonda, 8 A.M. Metro is a beautiful story about the platonic bond shared between a man and a woman brought together by fate
The film circles the life of a regular housewife Iravati (Played by Saiyami Kher), who faces the challenge of taking a train to to be there for her pregnant sister.
For Iravati, the journey is not an easy one as a childhood trauma has made her fear trains, forget about traveling in them. However, succumbing to the demands of the circumstances, she courageously boards the train only to experience recurring anxiety attacks later.
Later, when the lady boards a Metro train on her sister’s advice, she once again gets stuck by multiple panic attacks which causes her to almost faint. This time, a random stranger unique (played by Gulshan Devaiah) fortunately comes to her aid and succeeds in making her feel better.
The two eventually strike up a conversation & end up having a deep-meaningful talk about almost everything under the sun. This leads to the formation of an unlikely platonic bond between Pritam and Iravati who slowly start meeting one another more frequently.
However, as both of them are married to their respective partners their companionship is far away from any romantic feelings or sexual desires.

Cast and Production
Besides Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher, a set of other actors including Umesh Kamat, Kalpika Ganesh, Nimisha Nair, Dheer Charan Srivastav, Madhu Swaminath, and Jay Jha have played crucial roles in 8 A.M Metro.
Raj Rachakonda in association with Kishore Ganji has produced the the family entertainer flicker under the banner of Studio 99.
