Boys Be Brave! OTT Release Date: The eight-episode Korean drama will premiere on Viki Rakuten on April 25, 2024. Until May 16, 2024, each of the eight episodes will be released on a Thursday every week.

New Delhi: The BL Korean drama – Boys Be Brave! is an adaptation of the webtoon Can’t Confess by Seok Young, which is expected to be released soon.

The four main characters in the BL drama—the free-spirited Jung Ki Sub, the flawless Kim Jin Woo, the secretive Ji In Ho, and the endearing Choi Sunny—are sure to turn heads with their one-of-a-kind looks and charisma.

Storyline

In the BL drama, the protagonist, Kim Jin Woo, is a young guy whose life takes an unexpected turn when his crush, Jung Ki Sub, shows up unannounced and stays on his couch for an extended time. Kim Jin Woo’s secret crush and friend is Jung Ki Sub. Therefore, being with Ki Sub every day makes his heart flutter whenever he asks for rest at his apartment.

Additionally, the story delves into the bond shared by Choi Sunny and Ji In Ho, who harbour a long-buried secret from their time together in high school. The series shows their comedic romance, which is both endearing and painful since it displays their undeclared love.

Cast and Crew

Written by Lee Shin Won and directed by Lim Hyun Hee, Boys Be Brave! is a Korean BL drama aimed at young people.

Jung Ki Sub, played by Nam Shi An, is a charismatic figure who seems to have an endless supply of love confessions from everyone he meets. An up-and-coming actor named Nam Shi An has been making waves in recent projects including Love Naggers, Woman Playbook, and also a short film Mutation, thanks to his impressive acting chops.

Kim Jin Woo is portrayed by Kim Sung Hyun as an exceptionally careful and flawless individual. Kim Sung Hyun has a long record of successful drama credits that includes Love After School, Missing Crown Prince, Hospital Playlist, and many more.

As Ji In Ho, Ahn Se Min steps into the spotlight. The Red Sleeve, School 2021, and other works by the affable Ahn Se Min have propelled him to the status of a potential rookie.

Jung Yeo Joon portrays the character of the overly optimistic part-timer, Choi Sunny. Like Flowers in Sand and Rookie Cops are just a few of the roles that rookie actor Jung Yeo Joon has previously acted in.
