‘The Fool at the End of the World,’ a best-selling Japanese book by Kotaro Isaka, is the inspiration for the film directed by Kim Jin Min. The riveting teaser for Netflix’s apocalyptic thriller has started the clock ticking as it depicts the widespread fear and terror in the days leading up to the great catastrophe.

The captivating teaser offers a sneak peek into the mayhem that ensues when the end of the world countdown starts, including distressed Korean civilians.

Storyline

As the narrative progresses, the characters deal with the devastating truth that Asteroid Dina will smash into Earth in exactly two hundred days. Confusion ensues as the news quickly spreads throughout the globe.

In Woongchun City, Jin Se Kyung has a teaching job for middle school students. She finds out that the world is going to end soon. To devote more time to volunteering with the city hall’s child and youth division, she left her employment. To save children in peril, she fights valiantly.

Ha Yoon Sang has been her boyfriend for a long time. His present position is that of researcher in an American biotechnology centre. He returns to South Korea to be with Jin Se Kyung after the announcement of the tragic news.

Sung Woo Jae works as an associate priest for a Catholic congregation. Following the announcement of the incoming asteroid, the presider of the church fled the building. The welfare of the churchgoers is now Woo Sung Jae’s responsibility. A combat support battalion is commanded by Kang In Ah. She provides supplies, transportation, and protection as she travels about the devastated Woongchun City.
