Kill OTT Release Date: After receiving significant acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year, Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt’s ambitious film ‘Kill’ found its way to the big screens earlier this month
Starring Lakshya, and Raghav Juyal amongst others in key roles, the action thriller hit the cinemas on July 5th, 2024 & became a major commercial success in no time.
While fans hailed the movie for its engaging plot &, others went gaga over the top-notch performances of its leading cast. As a result of the same, Kill concluded its Box Office run as a sensational hit and now, all eyes are on its anticipated arrival on the OTT screens.
When and where to watch Kill on OTT?
Surprisingly enough, just a month after wrapping up in the theaters, Kill landed on Amazon Prime Video for overseas audiences, allowing them to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.
However, to the contrary, Disney + Hotstar, the action-thrillers’ official streaming partner in India left the domestic audience waiting & never made any official announcement regarding the same.
Amid this, various reports have now emerged on social media, suggesting that Kill is likely to make its digital debut in India on or around August 30th, 2024.
This, if true, makes it pretty much clear that, unlike the overseas audience, Indian fans will have to wait much longer before being able to access Nikhil’s blockbuster series on the OTT screens.
Plot
Written by the film’s director Nikhil Nagesh himself, Kill’s plot unfolds inside a New Delhi-bound train that departs from Ranchi for its destination but gets hijacked by a bunch of bandits led by Fani midway.
The story primarily circles around Army veteran Amrit Rathod, one of the many passengers of the hijacked train who leaves no stone unturned in ensuring the safety of his fellow commuters from the wrath of Fani & his ruthless goons.
It also sees Amrit’s friend Viresh helping the former face of the bandits & saving many innocent lives from the looming threat of death.
Cast and Production
Kill features an ensemble cast that sees talented actors like Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, Harsh Chhaya, Abhishek Chauhan, and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles.
Karan Johar, Achin Jain, Apoorva Mehta, and Guneet Monga have presented the film under the banners of Sikhya Entertainment and Dharma Productions.
