New Delhi: Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is celebrating his 37th birthday today. Born on 24th April 1987, Varun is the son of Film Director David Dhawan hailing from a Punjabi family. He also has an elder brother who is also a film director. The actor holds a Business Studies degree from Nottingham Trent University. He also assisted Film Director Karan Johar during the making of ‘My name is Khan’.

Varun made his acting debut in 2012 with the film ‘Student of the Year’ with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. The film was a commercial success and Varun’s acting as a charming boy was praised by both fans and critics. His next film was ‘Main Tera hero’ which was a remake of a Telugu film and it was directed by his own father David Dhawan. His next film ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’ was a blockbuster and audience loved his chemistry with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Varun’s Personal Life
The Sunshine boy married his long time girl friend Natasha Dalal in 2021. Natasha is a fashion designer. The couple is currently expecting their first child and the Baby Shower ceremony was held two days ago. The small Get-Together was attended by friends and family members and some celebrities from Bollywood.

Apart from films, Varun is also associated with other activities like he became the brand ambassador of the Indian Super League Club FC Goa. He also donated over 30 lakhs in the Prime Minister Care Fund during the Covid Pandemic.
