Shaitaan OTT Release Date: Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan starrer horror thriller is now ready to be streamed online

New Delhi: Shaitaan, Vikas Bahl’s highly anticipated Bollywood horror film, will soon be available on over-the-top services. The cast includes Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika, and the film is a retelling of the Gujarati horror flick Vash from 2023.

Plot

Kabeer and his loved ones are the central characters in the film. The trailer shows that when a stranger called Vanraaj visits their home, their happy existence takes a dark turn. Through the help of black magic, Vanraaj takes control over Janvi, Kabeer’s daughter, and forces her parents to give her over to him.

Still, Kabeer and Jyoti stand firm, refusing to bow to his wicked will. As Vanraaj begins to torture Kabeer and his family, the tale takes an exciting turn. Kabeer must now battle to protect his daughter and family.

Netflix has already purchased the rights to the film, and it is expected to be made available on over-the-top platforms on May 3, 2024, according to sources.

Cast and Crew

Among the brilliant actors who appear in Shaitaan are Ajay Devgn, who plays Kabeer; R. Madhavan, who plays Vanraaj; Jyothika, who plays Jyoti, Kabeer’s wife; Janki Bodiwala, who plays Janvi, their daughter; and Anngad Raaj, who plays Dhruv, their son.

Under the banners of Jio Studios, Panorama Studios, and Devgn Films, the suspenseful drama was both written and directed by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Vikas Bahl. Producing it were Vikas Bahl, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Ajay Devgn, and Jyoti Deshpande. The camerawork was done by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti, while the editing was done by Sandeep Francis.
