New Delhi: A horrifying video featuring a female pedestrian becoming a victim of a brutal road accident is lately doing rounds on social media.
Reportedly from Tamil Nadu’s Erode district, the CCTV footage shows a speeding uncontrolled hatchback hitting the lady from behind, causing her to get thrown over 20 feet away after the collision.
Meanwhile, the time stamp of the CCTV camera suggests that the accident took place on 27 April 2024 (Saturday) at around 2: 35 PM.

As the video opens, a woman is seen casually walking on the footpath near a road in Sennimalai district. Moments later, a speeding rampant white Wagon R enters the frame and & rams into a motorcyclist, knocking a couple off the two-wheeler in the blink of an eye.
Within a second of colliding with the biker, the car also hits the lady, sending her tossing and tumbling into the air about 20 feet away. Eventually, the vehicle comes to a halt after smashing into a tree and some locals rush to the aid of the injured woman.
Surprisingly, despite sustaining major injuries in her shoulder hands, and legs, the lady manages to get up with a little assistance from two other women. She was later taken to a nearby hospital and is currently receiving the required medical care.
Investigation Underway
Meanwhile, the police officers later disclosed that the car driver involved in the accident was a man who hails from Ambasamudram.
According to the driver’s claim, he lost his car’s balance because of the biker couple who allegedly came into his vehicle way all of a sudden and caused the accident. The investigation into the matter is underway.
