New Delhi: Ola’s head Bhavish Agarwal on Thursday announced that they are going to add ‘flying electric car’ to their fleet. It has to be charged only once and after that, it’ll charge as it goes, also it’s fully autonomous so no driver is needed. It is capable of vertical take-off and landing, so, it doesn’t need a runway.
Also, it can reach the maximum speed of 350 km/h which means you’ll always reach the destination on time. It’s very lightweight and does not have any propellers or anything pointy which can cause damage. Ola has already begun testing of this marvelous car.
Excited to unveil the world’s first and only fully autonomous electric flying car. The Ola AirPro. Ab har family bharegi udaan. Test flights now at https://t.co/UbwKCwikg1 #OlaAirPro #TheFutureIsHere @Olacabs @OlaElectric pic.twitter.com/dy31ZS8FQ8

And we think this has gone too far now, Happy April Fool’s Day! Although this was a prank by us and Ola also, but we would love to see such a car one day. As the world is going towards electrification, we hope the flying car is also not too far.
Even the author Chetan Bhagat loved this idea:
Superb, can I open the windows while up there? I’d love some fresh air. Oh, and prime play too – bina music ke mazaa nahi aayega.

On the other hand, one user took a dig at Ola’s plans to launch an electric scooter:
Let’s hope Ola’s electric scooters aren’t as dated as their April fools attempts.

Ola is planning to launch their own electric scooter with a range of 240 kms. For its production, Ola has set up the world’s largest scooter factory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.
Happy April Fool’s Day folks!!!
