Cryptocurrency Prices Today, August 17: Bitcoin down by 2%, ETH plunges

Coins like Stellar and XRP were down by more than 7%, on the other hand, Litecoin declined to $180.66.

New Delhi: Last week have been a good time for the investors and traders as Cryptomarket was pumping and full of Green Indexes. All the crypto coins extended their gains.

But starting of this week witnessed some mixed trading signals as the global cryptocurrency market capitalisation saw a decrease of 3% in the last 24 hours and is currently at $1.98 trillion.

Bitcoin went down by 2 percent but still is above $46,000, while Eth is trading 4.3% lower and Dogecoin slipped to $0.3337.  Coins like Stellar and XRP were down by more than 7%, on the other hand, Litecoin declined to $180.66.

Last week, Intel Corp disclosed a stake worth less than 1 million dollars in crypto exchange Coinbase. Intel holds about 3,014 shares of Coinbase’s Class A common stock.
