New Delhi: Gold prices in the country big drop on Monday. As per Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), August gold contracts slumped 0.40 per cent to Rs 47,732 for 10 grams. At the same time, Silver has declined by Rs 168 per kg.
“International spot gold and silver prices have started marginally in the green this Monday morning in Asian tracking a slightly weaker dollar and bond yields. A rise in global caseloads in the more transmissible Delta variant of Covid-19 infections also lent safe-haven support,” said Sriram Iyer, Senior Research Analyst at Reliance Securities.
However, there has been stability in the gold rates in the last few days.
