ABVP-JNU’s ‘Bhasha Sangam’ – open online language courses to commence from tomorrow

Shivam Chaurasia President ABVP-JNU said, “ABVP-JNU’s ‘Bhasha Sangam’ program has recieved appreciations and over a thousand registrations from India and abroad.

New Delhi: ABVP-JNU on 26th June, 2020 had launched its ‘Bhasha Sangam’ programme, the unique open online study courses for various Indian and foreign languages. The classes are set to commence starting from tomorrow (18th July, 2020).

These free introductory courses would immensely benefit those students, across India and abroad, who are interested in learning the basics of a new language or are looking for international fellowships to study abroad. Online classes for the registered students will be conducted through ‘Google Classroom’ as per the attached schedule and timetable.

Bhasha Sangam

Shivam Chaurasia President ABVP-JNU said, “ABVP-JNU’s ‘Bhasha Sangam’ program has recieved appreciations and over a thousand registrations from India and abroad. Around 50 language experts, teachers and research scholars would be giving lectures on the basics of various languages. It is worth noting that students, professionals and common citizens have registered for learning.”

Govind Dangi, Secretary ABVP-JNU said, “For a student, learning to speak a new language is an opportunity to understand the basics of culture and diversity associated with it in a multilingual society. One would also agree that India is a land of diversity where language and other cultural expressions are celebrated. Through ‘Bhasha Sangam’, ABVP JNU is enabling a possibility to upgrade communication skills of students during the ongoing lockdown.”
