CBSE Exam 2021 LIVE Updates: Weather to conduct or to cancel CBSE Exam Class 12 Exam, the decision on conducting class 12 board examinations may not be taken today as the Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been admitted to AIIMS due to post COVID complications.
The matter will come for hearing before the Supreme Court on Thursday and the ministry is likely to announce its decision on whether to conduct or cancel class 12 exams amid the pandemic only after the court’s decision,
An “informed, collaborative” decision will be taken by June 1, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ had said on May 23 after a high-level meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ was supposed to announce a decision on Class 12th board exams today, June 1. However, on a plea heard by the Supreme Court on Monday, May 31, on cancellation of the upcoming 2021 Class 12 board exams, the Centre has requested two days’ time to take a final call on the board exams. The Supreme court adjourned the matter to June 3 after Attorney General appearing for the Centre informed the Supreme Court that the Government will take a decision on Class 12 board exams in two days. “Give us time till Thursday and Government will come with a final decision,” Attorney General said.
