JEE Advanced 2020: COVID-19 Guidelines issued for students appearing for the exam

JEE Advanced 2020 Examination: Guidelines has been issued by the Indian Institute of Technology for students appearing for the exams during the COVID 19 pandemic.

JEE Advanced 2020 Examination: Indian Institute of Technology, the conducting body of the JEE examination has released a set of guidelines to be followed by the students appearing for the JEE Advanced 2020 Examination.

The JEE Advanced Examinations are scheduled to be held from September 27, 2020. Those students appearing for the exams are advised to visit the official website in order to check the details related to the examinations and the guidelines to be followed by the students at the time of COVID 19.

Students are suggested to carry the JEE Advanced 2020 examination admit card. If students appearing for JEE Advanced 2020 Examination has not yet downloaded the admit card can do it by visiting the official website of JEE Advanced.

According to the eligibility provided, only those students who have qualified the JEE Main exams will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exams.

JEE Advanced examination: Timing

The JEE Advanced examination will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in two papers, Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the online mode.

Only those students who qualify JEE Main 2020 and are ranked in top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit can apply for JEE Advanced 2020.

According to the reports, JEE Advanced examination result 2020 will be announced on October 5.

About JEE Advanced Exam

JEE Advanced exam is jointly organised by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee with one IIT acting as the conducting institute.

JEE Advanced is the exam for admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the 23 IITs of the country.
