Tynsong informed that strict instructions have been given to the education department to ensure that COVID protocols are being followed strictly in the examination centres.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday cancelled class 10 exams and postponed class 12 exams in view of a surge in COVID-19 cases. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

The pandemic situation in the country is seeing a resurgence of COVID 19 positive cases in many states, with a few states having been affected more than others.

The Prime Minister reiterated that the well being of the students has to be the top priority for the Government. 

A decision on Class 12 Board Exams will be made on June 1 after reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the country.

As per the previous schedule, CBSE board exams for both 10th and 12th were slated to be held from May 4 to June 7. Results were likely to be announced by mid-July.

CBSE released the question bank to help the students prepare and understand the format of class 10 Maths board exam.
