SSC Steno Exams 2020: New exam dates announced for Grade ‘C & D’ @ssc.nic.in

The examination for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ will be held from 22 December to 24 December 2020. Earlier, the computer-based exams were scheduled from December 24 to December 30, 2020.

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Wednesday released the new examination dates for the post of Stenographers in two categories – Grade C and Grade D. The announcement for Non-Gazetted posts in both categories was made on its website – ssc.nic.in.

The examination for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ will be held from 22 December to 24 December 2020. Earlier, the computer-based exams were scheduled from December 24 to December 30, 2020.

SSC Steno Exams: Admit Card download

The candidates appearing for upcoming examinations should download SSC Steno Admit card from the website, for appearing in the examinations.

The admit card will be uploaded 3-7 days prior to examination on the website of concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office. Candidate should download the Admit card, take a print-out and carry it along with ID proof to the examination centre.

SSC Steno Exam Pattern

The examination of SSC Steno will be multiple-choice questions with 200 questions. General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness will comprise of 50 marks each while English Language & Comprehension will comprise of 100 questions.

Candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the test. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Therefore, candidates must be careful while solving the question paper and must refrain from making wild guesses.

The candidates who get shortlisted in Computer Based Examination for next stage will have to appear for Skill Test in Stenography.

The notification for recruitment of Stenographer in various Ministries/Departments/Organisations was published in newspapers by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in September 2019.
