New Delhi: It’s a big day for more than 8 lakh candidates, who appeared for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) examinations in December session. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the results for the NET examination conducted in December 2022 session.
The results would be announced on its official website and the same will be released on ugcnet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.
UGC NET December session exam was held in 5 phases between Feb 21 to March 16, in which over 8 lakh candidates appeared under 83 subjects.
Once the results are declared this afternoon/evening, candidates can check their marks by entering their application number & date of birth (DOB).
A total of 8,34,537 students are said to have appeared for the UGC NET examinations. Those who qualify in the examinations will get JRF certificate with 3 years validity. Notably, those seeking job as lecturer, must have a valid JRF certificate.

• Visit the official portal — ugcnet.nta.nic.in // ntaresults.nic.in.
• Once you reach homepage, click ‘NTA UGC NET December Result’ link.
• Enter your application number & DOB – date of birth
• NTA UGC NET result 2023 will flash soon after this
• You should download UGC NET result & keep a hard copy with you for future reference
