New Delhi: Bollywood is always thrashed for getting inspired by old songs and making remakes. Sometimes the original maker gets the credit for the song but sometimes not. Recently one such remake is in the news and people are criticizing the new version of the song. The song named Pasoori Nu, which is taken from the Pakistani song Pasoori is being trolled badly for its remake. Some of the people are still ok with its remake but some are just not liking it.
Bollywood has made remakes of many such songs, this is not the first time when a remake came out and got trolled. Here is the list of remakes of songs that have been remade from Pakistani songs.
1. Pasoori
Ever since the song came out, the internet has been flooded with comments. Some are liking the song while others are against it. The song is remade as Pasoori Nu and viewers have asked What was the need? The remake has changed the meaning of the whole song. The song in Satyapem Ki Katha is a love song while the original is a sad song.
2. Mere Rashke Qamar
The Ajay Devgn and Ileana d’ Cruz starrer song Raske Qmar from the movie Badshao is a remake of the song Mere Rashke Qamar that was sung by an immensely popular Qwaali Artist, Nushrat Sateh Ali Khan. The song gave credits to Nushrat Fateh Ali Khan and its Bollywood version was sung by his Nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, keeping the gem enacted.
3. Disco Deewane
The dance number Disco Deewane from the movie Students Of The Year is also a remake of a 1980 Pakistani song sung by Nazia Hassan who also sang Aap Jaisa Koi with her brother Zoheb Hassan. Bollywood has tweaked some lines from the original song.
4. Aahun Aahun
The remake was made in the movie Love Aaj Kal of the original Pakistani folk song. The renowned singer Shaukat Ali Khan sang the song Kadi Te Has Bol Ve from which some chunks of lyrics are drawn in the song.
5.Halka Halka Surror
The song from the Fanney Khan movie is the remake of the song sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The remake of the song features Rajkumar Rao and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and has some chunks of the original song sung by legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
