After Adidas, Indian food outlets cutting ties with Kanye West is the wittiest take on Internet today

New Delhi: Rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, is currently under fire over his antisemitic remarks, as a result of which, various multinational companies have begun to cut ties with the latter, leading to extreme loss to his wealth. Recently, popular sportswear brand Adidas distanced itself from the rapper, saying that it does not tolerate “antisemitism or any other sort of hate speech”, via an official statement.

Since the controversy erupted on Ye’s remarks, social media users, as well as customers of Adidas has been urging it to cut ties with the rapper. If reports are to be believed, the firm was considering initiating a sneaker deal with West earlier this month.

Apart from Adidas, women’s clothing brand Balenciaga fashion house also announced cutting ties with West as it was facing pressure from the public.
