New Delhi: If there was an award for the most powerful pair in Bollywood, we’d gladly present it to the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan. The pair marked their sixteenth wedding anniversary on Thursday (April 20) and have been giving their followers huge relationship goals.
In their interviews, both Abhishek and Aishwarya are open about their feelings for one another. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress posted on Instagram to share an unseen photo as they commemorate 16 years of marriage.
Abhishek can be seen in the photo throwing his arms over his wife Aishwarya as she takes a romantic picture. They can be seen beaming for the camera with their million-dollar smiles. Aishwarya captioned the post, “Sweet 16,” followed by heart emoticons, while Abhishek stated, “16” with an evil eye emoticon.

For those who are unaware, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai married in a lavish wedding on April 20, 2007. Their wedding became the buzz of the town, causing a frenzy among netizens. According to gossip mills, the Bollywood star donned a Rs 75 lakh exquisite saree for her big day. She had accessorized her saree with gold jewels and looked stunning.
Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan are the delighted parents of Aaradhya Bachchan, who is 11 years old. On November 16, 2011, they welcomed their first child.
Aishwarya is preparing for the release of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II, which co-stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The movie is set to be released in theatres on April 28, this year. Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, was most recently seen in Dasvi with Yami Gautam and Nimrit Kaur. He will thereafter be seen in Ghoomer.
