
New Delhi: The Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has beaten all the records to become one of the most profitable bunce of 2021. The film that released in the third week of December is still gathering crowds in the theaters.
A little surprisingly, the Hindi version of the Pushpa has already crossed the Rs 50 crore-mark, and is impressively proceeding ahead. Sukumar’s directorial has managed to break records amidst the spike in Covid cases and government imposed pandemic curbs in various states.
Several other new releases including Ranveer Singh starrer 83′ are continuing to bring the audiences in the theaters. The trend has brought a tough competition between ’83’ and ‘Pushpa’, and fans are excited to see if Hindi version of Allu Arjun starrer will be able to crossover Kapil Dev’s biography in terms of box office collection.
Pushpa (Hindi) had begun its BO collection journey with around 3 crores in the first weekend. The film moved steadily after the weekend with Rs 4.05 crores on its fifth day of release. And now on its third Saturday, the film impressively stands with a BO collection of Rs 6.10 crores.
Meanwhile, Kabir Khan directorial 83 which was seeing a steady growth on box office received an impressive surge on its second Saturday of around with around Rs 7 crores, while its Day 1 collection stands at Rs 12 crores.
Talking of the overall collection of both the films, Sukumar’s Pushpa stands with a total collection of Rs 56 crores while Kabir Khan’s 83 at around 80 crores.
While a surge in the multiplex shows of Hindi version of Pushpa can still be still, it would be interesting to see if Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandana starrer will be able overtake 83 in the coming days.
