New Delhi: Anupamaa aka Rupali Ganguly has tested positive for the coronavirus. She reportedly got her test results and she found diagnosed with COVID-19.
Rupali shared her news of diagnosis on Instagram. With a long note, she in the caption told how she and her entire team of serial Anupama took precautions and still coronavirus caught them. The actor also told the fans to pray for her cast. The test results of her family members and the cast-crew of Anupama are yet in waiting. To be on the safer side, she isolated herself away from her family and cast.

Not only Rupali, actor Aashish Mehrotra who is her on-screen son, has also tested positive for the coronavirus a few days back. Sources suggest that Sudhanshu Pandey her on-screen husband, Vanraj also got COVID as he is not been keeping well for the last two days.
Producer Rajan Shahi is finding out the next course of action as the show’s lead stars would not be able to perform for some days now.
Ashish Mehrotra aka Paritosh too is also in self-quarantine for now.

On which, Rajan Shahi said, “Ashish Mehrotra, who plays Paritosh in Anupamaa, too was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few days back. Though he was not shooting for a very long time, as soon as the symptoms were detected he received medical help and also quarantined himself. He is already on his road to recovery, and in a few days once he tests negative he will be resuming shoot. I am constantly in touch with Rupali, Ashish and the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed are being adhered to.”
