New Delhi: Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma has wrapped up the shoot for her upcoming movie Chakda Xpress, and is currently having a fun time in Kolkata. She shared a string of photos from her time withinside the ‘City Of Joy’ on Saturday featuring a glimpse of her daughter Vamika Kohli. Sharing the post, the actress wrote, “Eat-Pray-Love: My Kolkata image dump!”
In the first picture, Anushka is praying on the banks of the river Hoogli. She also took Vamika to a popular Kalighat temple in Kolkata to worship according to her post. The rest of the photos gave fans a glimpse of the delicacies she enjoyed during her brief stay. Some of them include Misti Doi, Samosa, Chai, Rasgulla, Mithai, Kachori, and more.

Chakda’ Xpress which marks Anushka’s return to cinema after a four-year hiatus is directed by Prosit Roy. This film is a sports biography based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami and will be released on Netflix. Recently, the actress also shared a post of her Chakda Xpress shoot and captioned it “Getting into her shoes and recreating the journey.”

The creators haven’t confirmed a release date for Chakda’ Xpress, but it could be released in early 2023. The film is endorsed by Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma under his own production company, Clean Slate Films. The actress set up the production house with Karnesh in 2013, but later she stepped down after welcoming Vamika with Virat Kohli.
