New Delhi: Actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul’s love story often makes headlines. Although the actress brushed off rumours regarding their wedding, a recent report suggests that the couple is getting married real soon. The duo has been dating each other for a few years now and has often been spotted on lunch and dinner dates in Mumbai.
According to reports by ETimes, it is confirmed at least for now that Athiya and Rahul are getting married in early 2023, unless and until their respective families have any change in plans. The months of January and February have been taken into consideration.

Earlier speculation hit stating that the couple is getting married in the next three months. Reacting to it, Athiya wrote on her Instagram stories, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.” Recently, Athiya and Rahul travelled to Munich where the latter underwent surgery.
Earlier in May, Athiya’s brother commented on the rumoured wedding. “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?” stated Ahan.

During a conversation with ETimes, Sunil Shetty spoke about his fondness for Rahul. “It is for them to decide what they want to do because times have changed. Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai (My daughter and son are both responsible people). I would like them to take the decision. My blessings are always there for them,” the actor was quoted as saying.
