New Delhi: Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker today (December 1, Thursday) joined the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Ujjain and walked side by side with Rahul Gandhi.
On Wednesday, Swara reached Indore as she was scheduled to join the walk with Rahul Gandhi today morning. Earlier, Bollywood stars like Amol Palekar, Rashmi Desai, Riya Sen, Pooja Bhatt, and several others joined the yatra.
Swara Bhasker who is known for her anti-BJP opinion extended her support to the yatra when it started and also praised Rahul Gandhi’s efforts.

Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed that the actors are paid to join Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

On Tuesday, former Congress President, Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain.

Last week, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The Bharta Jodo Yatra began September 7, so far it has covered seven states.
