New Delhi: Every weekend a new storm takes over the house of Bigg Boss 16. The latest one is the elimination of Ankit Gupta. Rumours are that Ankit Gupta was evicted not because of a lack of votes but due to ‘less participation’ in the house.
Fans are, however, extremely angry with this new development and they are calling for a boycott of Bigg Boss 16 by trending the hashtag ‘No Ankit Gupta No Bigg Boss’ on Twitter. The hashtag has been used over a million times by raging fans.

A video is making rounds on the internet where Priyanka Chaha Choudhary is sobbing hard while embracing Ankit Gupta.
Ankit Gupta was eliminated by the common vote. Bigg Boss asked contestants to vote for the member who has the least contribution in the house and everyone voted for Ankit. Following this, Priyanka broke down into tears.

According to some sources, the real reason Ankit Gupta was eliminated was his own professional commitments. Insiders say Ankit didn’t expect to stay in the house for so long and signed work deals.
