Bigg Boss 17: Karan Johar to replace Salman Khan as host for this week’s Weekend Ka War episodes? All We know

New Delhi: India’s iconic reality show Bigg Boss is enjoying yet another blockbuster season (BB 17) with high TRP on television and monumental streaming figures on its digital streaming partner Jio Cinema.

Although the show promises a good dose of entertainment each and every day, its Weekend Ka War episodes on Fridays and Saturdays are even more awaited by the fans, all thanks to the presence of host superstar Salman Khan.

While some wait for the Weekend Ka War episodes to witness Salman school the housemates in his unique way, others just get delighted seeing the actor entertain everyone and light up the atmosphere of BB house with his charming presence.

However, for quite a while, Salman’s absence from the show’s weekend ka war episodes has become a common occurrence and this week might be no exception to that.

Karan Johar to host Bigg Boss 17?

As per the reports, the Tiger 3 actor is going to upset his fans once again by not appearing in BB 17’s upcoming Weekend Ka War episodes.

Sources also have it that instead of Salman, veteran director and the host of the popular chat show KWK 8 Karan Johar is going to take charge of hosting the super hit reality show’s forthcoming weekend episodes which will air on December 1 & 2.

Informing about the same, Bigg Boss Tak, a reliable insider source of the show took to his Twitter (now X) and penned, “Salman Khan will not host WeekendKaVaar this week Karan Johar to host Weekend ka Vaar this week as a proxy host.”

For the unversed, Karan previously hosted Bigg Boss in its 16th season when Salman Khan caught dengue fever and became temporarily unavailable.

Besides this, the director has also been a full-time host of Bigg Boss’ first OTT season which aired ok Voot back in 2021. However, he was later replaced by Salman Khan for the hosting of the show’s next digital season (Bigg Boss OTT 2) which was streamed on Jio Cinema earlier this year.

Meanwhile, yet another contestant will say goodbye to the Bigg Boss house in the coming Weekend Ka War episode.

The names of all the nominated contestants for this week’s eviction are Rinku Dhawan, Anurag Dobhal, Khanzaadi, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Mannara Chopra, Neil Bhatt and Arun Mashettey.
