New Delhi: Pathaan, played by Shah Rukh Khan, is not slowing down! The Siddharth Anand-directed film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in addition to SRK, has dominated the box office since its January 25 release. On its 17th day, the YRF movie earned over Rs 900 Cr globally, with India accounting for Rs 558 Cr. The official Instagram account of Yash Raj Films shared the news with a Pathaan poster.

In the meantime, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to unveil Pathaan’s collection. “#Pathaan grows at *national chains* on [third Fri]:” he wrote. Thu 2.42 cr, Fri 2.58 cr… Expect significant growth/jump on [third] Saturday and Sunday, when single screens join the party… Today [third Saturday], we will pass the 450 crore mark… [Week 3] Fri 5.75 cr. Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is part of YRF’s Spy Universe. Among those who appear in the film are Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia. It also includes a cameo appearance by Salman Khan.
In a new video that was released by Yash Raj Films, Shah Rukh Khan describes how he evolved into a romantic hero when his childhood dream of becoming an action hero was not realized. “I’ve always wanted to be an action hero, so it’s a dream come true for me,” he said. I entered the movie industry 32 years ago hoping to be an action flick, but they turned me into a romantic hero rather!”
