New Delhi: The 40 year old actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh who is currently grabbing eye balls for his film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has once again proved that apart from being a versatile singer, the man has all the qualities of an actor. In the film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ Diljit plays the role of an singer and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra plays his wife. The movie received an overwhelming response from the fans and critics. Diljit was lauded for his performance in ‘Udta Punjab’ before this film in which he played the role of a cop.

The Punjabi singer made his acting debut in 2011 with a Punjabi film ‘Lion of Punjab’. The singer expressed his emotions when he was offered ‘Udta Punjab’, he said “I just don’t have words to describe how I feel about working with Kareena and that too in my debut Bollywood film. I have been her admirer. I thought getting a photograph with her would be an accomplishment, but here I am working with her. She is very dedicated.”
