New Delhi: There is no denying the fact that the good old love drama ‘Pavitra Rishta’ was one of the most iconic television serials of its time.
As the iconic show completed a span of 14 years from its initial launch, actress Ankita Lokhande, who played the much-loved character of ‘Archana’ in the serial took to her Instagram and penned down a heartfelt note for the show’s producer Ekta Kapoor in which she thanked the producer for showing faith in her.
Along with the note, the 38-year-old actress posted a completion video consisting of different clips from the serial featuring herself.

However, soon after Ankita shared the post, a number of netizens got triggered at her due to the fact that she had nowhere mentioned or talked about the show’s male lead ‘Manav’ who was played by late actor Shushant Singh Rajpoot. Moreover, people also noticed that the actress has cropped away the stills of the late actor from the frame of her video.
This unpleased a lot of people, who then trolled the actress for deliberately ignoring Shushant in her post.
Voicing anger over Ankita’s post, an internet user wrote, “She didn’t even mention Shushant once”. Another said, “It would have been better if you would have posted some pictures of Shushant as well”.
One more person wrote, “This was unexpected from Ankita. This show was equally loved for Shushant’s innocent acting.”
