New Delhi: Siddharth Anand, whose films include War and Pathaan, helms Fighter, an airborne actioner. The 2024 action flick Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, promises thrills, action, and a patriotic vibe.
The film had a respectable opening weekend and continued to do well at the box office after its global release on January 25, 2024. Although it was not as huge as other of last year’s major releases, the Siddharth Anand picture nonetheless managed to do well enough to be considered a success. The film will soon be available to watch online following a successful run in cinemas.
Plot
Officers of the Indian Air Force engage in combat with terrorists from Pakistan in the film, which is based on the real-life occurrence of the Pulwama attack.
The film follows the protagonist, Shamsher Pathania, who is an aspiring squadron leader in the Indian Air Force. Upon enlisting in the IAF, he will encounter several obstacles that, if he wants to achieve a heroic position and save the country, he must overcome those.
It chronicles the team’s journey from sorrow to redemption as they vanquish the villain plotting national destruction.

The film Fighter will soon be available on the massive streaming service Netflix. According to the most recent reports circulating online, Fighter will premiere on Netflix on March 21, 2024—much sooner than anybody had anticipated.

Many star-studded actors and actresses are set to star in the film, including Hrithik Roshan (squadron leader Shamsher Pathania), Deepika Padukone (Minal Rathore), Anil Kapoor (captain Rakesh Jaisingh), Karan Singh Grover (squadron leader Sartaj Gill), Nishant Khanduja, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Rishabh Sawhney, and others.
Siddharth Anand oversaw directing, Satchith Paulose handled cinematography, and Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara wrote the score. Ramon Chibb, Kevin Vaz, Anku Pande, Mamta Anand, and Ajit Andhare are the producers of the film.
Other Details
The run that Fighter had at the Indian box office was certainly not insignificant. Although it couldn’t compare to blockbuster hits like Jawan and Pathaan, it was nonetheless passable. The film grossed a total of 212.50 crores over its existence, including an opening of 123.60 crores in the first extended weekend.
