Fighter Review: Fans praise Deepika Padukone’s performance, saying it combines action with patriotism

Fighter Review: Despite its flaws, Fighter manages to keep viewers engrossed and interested because of its sleek and clever storytelling. The aerial combat scenes are incredibly thrilling and mesmerising.

New Delhi: Today marks the release of Fighter, the film starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Siddharth Anand, known for his work on Pathaan and War, is directing this picture, which has a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.

Fighter has a visibly nationalistic tone, with lines addressing Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and India’s surgical strikes.

Fighter Plot

Anil Kapoor portrays Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, Deepika plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, and Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania.

The Air Headquarters commissions a new special force, Air Dragons, as insurgent actions in the Srinagar Valley start to spiral out of hand. The heroes of Fighter are the Air Dragons, a group of brave individuals who are prepared to face internal and external challenges head-on in service to their country.

Reviews

Fighter, despite its generic genre elements, is an energetic action film. The film begins in 2018, days before Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Pulwama Mohammed’s attack.

When it comes to the narrative, Fighter doesn’t surprise anybody and follows the expected pattern. Once again, this Bollywood film is about the Indian counterterrorism effort. The film also suffers from a slow second half that almost goes downhill before picking up speed at the end. Hrithik engaging in a hand-to-hand battle with a terrorist is one of many other notable events.

Despite its flaws, Fighter manages to keep viewers engrossed and interested because of its sleek and clever storytelling. The aerial combat scenes are incredibly thrilling and mesmerising.

The filmmakers and action directors deserve praise for executing astonishingly thrilling battle scenes. Superb cinematography by Satchith Paulose. With the help of editor Aarif Sheikh, the picture moves at a rapid pace, eliminating any opportunity for slow moments.

The airborne action scenes in Fighter are just as effective as the blazing chemistry between Hrithik and Deepika in creating an electric atmosphere. They are one of the top onscreen couples of recent times due to their impeccable harmony and matching rhythm and tune.

His charismatic and enthralling performance makes Hrithik Roshan the star of the show. With Fighter, Deepika ups her glam factor to an all-new level, and she looks as stunning as ever.

Being the senior member of the team, Anil Kapoor is always reliable. His look, demeanour, and body language are all spot on for the role of the commanding officer. Other characters are excellent in their roles, and they have some fleshed-out ones.

The 2024 Indian film industry is off to a fantastic start with Fighter, which has all the ingredients for a smash hit. Fighter captures moviegoers with its captivating plot, outstanding acting, and performance.
