New Delhi : With theatres now open in many states under strict Covid-19 guidelines, their have been assumptions of all the film buffs going to the big screens. However, Skyrocketed growth of OTTs initially when the global pandemic hit in 2019 and to the times shut-down the cinema halls is slowly being resumed have ratified the surmise to be in vain.
Recently, Bollywood stars like Akshay Kumar and Kangana Ranaut, whose movies Bellbottom and Thalaivii respectively was initially premiered in theatres got their separate digital release as well.
While many actors have already made their presence on OTTs, fans just can’t wait for the digital debut of these beloved actors as well :
In one of her Interviews a while back, when asked about her OTT debut, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her desire to appear on a digital platform. She further said the recognition that her husband Saif Ali Khan gained through Netflix’s Sacred Games and Tandav, inspires her to make an OTT debut as well. The also told that she was offered many OTT projects as well, and she might finalize one to mark her comeback after second pregnancy.
Actor Shahid Kapoor have developed phenomenal acting skills over the time in his career, which is evident from his films Jab We Met and Kabir Singh. Recently, The Family Man duo Raj and DK announced a web-series with him. This project will not only mark the digital debut for Kapoor but is also expected to take his scope on the next level.
The Bajirao Mastani fame actor will be seen in an non-fictional digital series, in collaboration with British adventurer Bear Grylls.
Devgan, who was last seen in Bhuj : The Pride Of India, have an OTT project on his hand titled The Edge of Darkness in which he will be seen playing a cop.
As per the reports, Ranbir will mark his OTT debut with an anthology series called Aisa Waisa Pyaar. He was last seen actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju.
The Dabangg actress will soon make her debut in a web series, playing the role of a cop. It will also feature Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah.
