New Delhi: Sunny Doel’s Gadar 2 has been doing wonders at the box office.

In just six days from its release, the Ameesha Patel starrer has not only achieved a glorious financial feat at the box office but also gathered immense love and appreciation from fans worldwide.

Be it for the movie’s nostalgic element, or the massy action-packed scenes it offers, Gadar 2 has been ruling the hearts of the fans worldwide and discussions about Sunny Doel’s raw body and electrifying dialogues from the film have become the talk of the town.

Bomb blast during Gadar 2’s screening

Amidst all this, a piece of concerning news has come from Bihar’s Patna where two rascals targetted a single-screen cinema hall by throwing two bombs around it during the premiere of the movie. Thankfully, as both the bombs were of low intensity and only one of them exploded, no loss of life or limb was caused to anyone.

Soon after the incident, Patna police swung into action and nabbed both the attackers.

Later, the owner of the Cinema Hall Suman Sinha also confirmed the news about the attack and revealed that the assault was done to bully him and his staff after they refused to let the accused black market Gadar 2’s tickets.

Sinha further spoke about the blast and told that although the explosion occurred at quite a distance from the cinema hall, people inside the theatre were able to hear it clearly.

Gadar 2’s box office domination

Meanwhile, the Sunny Doel starrer has been slamming the box office from its very first day and has clocked over 260 crores rupees in its week-long run. On Independence Day, Gadar 2 turned into a box office monster and minted a colossal amount of Rs 55.09 crore. On Wednesday too, the movie showed no sign of stopping and did an impressive business of Rs 33 crores at the BO.

With that, Gadar 2’s total domestic collection now stands at a staggering total of Rs 261 crore and fans are now eagerly waiting to see if Tara Singh’s power will help the movie become the biggest Bollywood movie of 2023 by outdoing Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan in the coming days.
