New Delhi: Sunny Doel’s Gadar 2 has been doing wonders at the box office.
In just three days from its release, the Ameesha Patel starrer has not only achieved a glorious financial feat at the box office but also gathered immense love and appreciation from fans worldwide.
While the filmmakers and fans of Gadar 2 were expecting the movie to open up with a bang at the box office, few could have guessed that Tara Singh’s return to the big screens will impress the masses so much that the movie will turn into a box office monster and cross the prestigious 100 crore mark within no time.
Be it for the movie’s nostalgic element, or the massy action-packed scenes it offers, Gadar 2 has been ruling the hearts of the fans worldwide and discussions about Sunny Doel’s raw body and electrifying dialogues from the film have become the talk of the town.
Made it for the fans
Meanwhile, Gadar’s director Anil Sharma has recently shared that it was only for the fans that he brought his two-decade-old blockbuster back into the cinemas after a gap of 22 years.
He even went on to reveal that it was non-other then Gadar’s heart and soul Sunny Deol who convinced him for making Gadar 2 and this brings us all to the question that if there will come a movie called Gadar 3 in the coming years.
Tara Singh to be a Grandpa in Gadar 3?
Besides Director Anil Shanra, Tara Singhs’ grown-up son from Gadar 2 also opened up about the movie while speaking with DNA and shared that the writers of the magnum opus have a rough idea about making Gadar’s third part. He further said that the movie has everything which can make Gadar one of the most popular franchises in Hindi cinema.
Joking about the third instalment of the movie, Utkarsh said that the audience might get to see Jeete’s kids in the movie while Tara Singh would appear as a Grandpa. However, he also made it clear that he has no idea when will the movie get finalised.
Gadar 2’s bumper box office collection
Gadar 2 stormed the box office on its first two days and is looking all set to do the same on its first Sunday. The movie started off massive by doing a business of Rs 40 crore on its opening Friday which spiked up further when it clocked a mammoth total of Rs 43 crore on Saturday.
Now, its two days collection stands at a towering total of Rs 83.50 crore and the movie looks all set to make its entry into the 100 crore club on Sunday.
