Glimpses from 73rd Emmy Awards: A look at celebrities who stole the show at the red carpet

Among the noted celebrities who grabbed maximum eyeballs included Olivia Colman, Gillian Anderson and others.

New Delhi: Unlike last year, the Emmy Awards 2021 was a lively affair this year, identifying itself with the pomp and glitz it is known for. As the event went from virtual ceremony in 2020 to in-person event this year, a lot of celebrities walked the red carpet in glamorous and stylish attire.

Among the noted celebrities who grabbed maximum eyeballs included Olivia Colman, Gillian Anderson and others.

Netflix’s The Crown cast Gillian Anderson looked stunning in an ivory Chloé crop top with decorative fringes along with a frayed hem skirt. Olivia Colman who won the Best Actress for the Netflix series kept it simple with colour-blocked Roksanda with a built-in cape.

The bright, bold colours were the trendiest at the ceremony night. Neon yellow worn by Kaley Cuoco, Michaele Coel, and Anya Taylor-Joy captured a lot of attention, while Angela Bassett, UzoAduba, and Phillipa Soo’s costumes with a tinge of pink were no less remarkable and eye-catching.

Meanwhile, old-Hollywood glam touch was seen in Jurnee Smollett, YaraShahidi, and Robin Thede’s princess-cut dresses. Some of the men kept the event happening with their looks and many shined in their velvet outfits.
