New Delhi: Katrina has turned 38 on July 16 and has also completed a journey of 17 years in the industry. The actress cemented her stardom despite being overly criticized for her accent as well as her acting skills in the early days. Kaif was first recognized for acting in ‘Namaste London’ opposite Akshay Kumar.

However, in an interview Katrina has told how she had irritated her dance choreographer while shooting for a Telugu film and how she later worked hard on her dancing skills. Today, it is hard to imagine any other actress to replace her in iconic dance numbers such as ‘Kamli’ and ‘Chikni Chameli’.

2. Chikni Chameli:

Katrina appeared all into a ‘desi avatar’ for this song from Hritik Roushan’Agneepath. Chikni Chameli was choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

3. Kala Chasma

Apart from the sassy pairing of Katrina and Siddharth, Katrina’s six-pack abs look took all the limelight in this glamourous wedding song. Kala Chasma is from Siddharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif’s Baar Baar Dekho and is choreographed by the due Bosco and Caesar.

 

4. Mashallah

The track from the film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has Katrina and Salman together on screen with Kat’s belly dancing moves. The film was a commercial success and the song Mashallah was choreographed by Master Santosh.

5. Sheila Ki Jawaani

It won’t be wrong to say that ‘Tees Maar Khan’ was successful to draw audience to the theatre for two reasons – one, it was a Akshay Kumar starrer film; two, it had Sheila Ki Jawaani in it. The jawdropping song watch was choreographed by Farah Khan, who also directed the film.

6. Zara Zara touch me:

This seductive dance song, again directed by Bosco – Caesar, is a thrilling rhythmic experience. The song is from Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor starrer Race.
