Happy Birthday Katrina Kaif: A look back at her Modelling career and Bollywood Journey

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Katrina kaif is celebrating her birthday today. As the ‘Merry Christmas’ actress turns a year older.. lets take a look at her journey in Bollywood, modelling and upcoming projects. Katrina was born in Hong Kong. Her parents got separated when she was a kid. Her father was a British Businessmen and mother was a lawyer and charity worker. She and her seven siblings were raised by her mother alone. During one of the interviews, Katrina said she was not in touch with her father.

Katrina lived in london before moving to India. She won a beauty contest when she was 14 and also received her first modelling assignment for a jewellery campaign. That’s how her modelling career kicked off and she started modelling in London for different agencies and for London Fashion Week.

The ‘Merry Christmas’ actress made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Boom’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Madhu Sapre and Padma Lakshmi. After working in this film, Katrina started receiving offers for films and was asked to stay in India. She has also appeared as a model for the Kingfisher Calendar.

After being linked with actor Salman Khan in the beginning of her carrer, Katrina got married to Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and the couple is living happily. The couple got married in 9th December 2021. The wedding took place in Six senses resort in Rajasthan.
