New Delhi: Mannara Chopra, Bigg Boss contestant and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra’s cousin is celebrating her birthday today. The model turned actress rose to fame with Bigg Boss has worked in Telugu, Hindu and Kannada films. She is the maternal cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. She made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Zid’. She was noticed by audience in reality show Bigg Boss 17 where she was the second runner-up.

Mannara’s early life
Mannara hails from Haryana. Her mother is a Jewellery designer and father is a lawyer in Delhi High court. She completed her schooling from Delhi and received a BBA degree. Her real name is Barbie Handa and she changed her name to Mannara on her sister Priyanka Chopra’s advice. She moved to Mumbai after completing her education and started doing Modelling and advertising. She ahs acted in a lot of commercials like Dulux Paints, Suzuki, Parle and Myntra. She also appeared in the song ‘Bas Bajna chahiye Gaana’. She has also worked as a fashion designer and Asistant Choreographer and is also trained in Hip Hop and Belly dancing.

She has also appeared in many music videos like ‘Na Hona tumse dur’, ‘Hum reh gaye akele’ and ‘Sukoon’ with Ashmit Patel. She ahs also made her singing debut with ‘zara zara behekta hai’. She ahs also received many awards for her performances in films. She appeared in the Reality show Bigg Boss 17 in 2023 which marked her first television debut. She also became one of the highest paid contestant of the season.
