Happy Birthday Manoj Bajpayee: A glimpse at his films that showcases his talent in the Film Industry

After doing some small roles in the films he got to act in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Satya’ in which he played the role of Bhiku Mhatre.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee is celebrating his 55th birthday today. The Indian actor needs no introduction in the film industry and is very well known for his spectacular acting skills in Bollywood. Born on 23rd April, 1969 he always wanted to become an actor since childhood. Manoj Vajpayee hails from a small town near West Champaran, Bihar. He moved to Delhi when he was 17 years old and took admission in National School of Drama where he was rejected four times. Manoj continued doing theatre while studying in college.

He got his first break in a film ‘Drohakaal’ in which his role was just for a minute. After doing some small roles in the films he got to act in Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Satya’ in which he played the role of Bhiku Mhatre. The film was a superhit and Manoj received lot of recognition for his role in the film. He also won a best Supporting actor award for the film. After this the ‘Satya’ actor got offers in films like ‘Shool’ and ‘Kaun’ which did extremely well at the box office especially his character of a cop in the film ‘Shool’ where he played the role of a Police officer who fights with the corrupt politicians of Bihar and loses his own daughter one day. Bollywood actress Ravina Tandon played his wife in the film who commits suicide leaving him shattered.

Early Life of Manoj Bajpayee

Manoj was born in a Middle class family with four siblings in which he was the second child. His younger sister Poonam Dubey is a Fashion Designer in the film industry. His father was a farmer by profession and mother was a house wife. Manoj used to help his father in farming during his vacations. His father struggled financially for his children’s education.
