New Delhi: Actor turned politician Nusrat Jahan shared a stunning pic of herself wearing Shakha Pola on the occasion of Vijyadashmi, on Friday. Nusrat wished her fans and followers on the occasion with the special pic.
Shakha are white bangles of conch-shell and Pola are red bangles made of red corals. The combo forms an integral part of the wedding trousseau. It is worn by the bride in the wee hours of the marriage day amidst rituals and customs.
Sharing the picture, Nusrat wrote, “Shubho Bojoya’r Priti Shubechcha O Abhinandan” (Best wishes and congratulations for Shubh Vijaya). The actress was seen wearing a red and white saari and completed her look with Shakha Pola in both her wrists and a red bindi on her forehead.
Earlier, Nusrat and Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta’s festive photoshoot had gone viral on social media in which the Trinamool MP is seen sitting on Yash’s lap.
Though Nusrat is yet to announce her marriage with Yash, earlier she’d shared a pic of a cake on Yash’s birthday with ‘Father’ and ‘Husband’ written on it.
A while ago, ending the countless speculation on name of father of TMC MP Nusrat Jahan’s son, latter’s birth certificate has gone viral on social media. Kolkata Municipal Corporation document mentions the name of her child as Yishaan J Dasgupta. Debashish Dasgupta also known as Yash Dasgupta has been named as the child’s father in the birth certificate.
