New Delhi: One of Bollywood’s legendary actresses Asha Parekh was upset after pictures of her vacation with other legends Waheeda Rehman and Helen went viral on social media. Recently in an interview, actress talked about her vacation in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, she also said that the three friends were surprised to see photos of their “very private vacation” doing rounds on social media.
The ‘Love in Tokyo’ fame said to Bollywood Hungama, “These pictures are from a holiday we took in the end of March in the Andamans just before the lockdown. We thought it was a very private vacation. We just wanted to get out. Relax. We’ve no idea who took the pictures. It was probably some tourists. The place was swarming with vacationers. Aaj kal koi bhi photos le sakta hai bina ijaazat ke (nowadays, anyone can click your pictures without your consent).”

78 year-old Asha Parekh was shocked to find their holiday pictures going viral when they came back to Mumbai. She also said that not just herself but Waheeda Rehman and Helen were also very angry with this invasion.
She said, “More than me, Waheeda Rehman and Helen were upset. They are far more private people than me. People were sharing the pictures and saying the three of us should star in a sequel to Dil Chahta Hai. I don’t understand. It was more like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.”
After expressing the trio’s anger, Asha shared that their vacation was a happy one and she even tried deep water snorkelling in the Andamans.

The recent pictures were leaked a month after Waheeda Rehman’s daughter, Kashvi shared a photo featuring her 83-year-old mother on Instagram. As per the post, it looks like Waheeda also tried the deep water snorkelling in the Andamans. Before that, politician Shaina NC also shared a photo on Instagram with the legendary trio while captioning the post as, “With the #wonderwomen of the film industry ,timeless grace #helen aunty.”
