New Delhi: More than two decades back, Bollywood’s old hand Raj Kapoor’s 19-year-old granddaughter Kareena Kapoor stepped inside the glamorous world of the film industry with J.P Dutta’s Refugee.
Her much-awaited big screen debut was celebrated by a large section of the Hindi movie audience who fell in love with the young actress’ captivating acting and charm within no time and the same became the starting gate of her bright and eminent acting career in the entertainment industry. Over the years, Kareena went on to establish herself as one of the most popular and loved divas of the industry who not only impressed the masses with her remarkable acting on the big screen but also served as a fashion icon for the youth for a long time.
Today, the actress is one of the biggest bankable figures of Tinsel Town who enjoys a massive fan following amongst the masses as well as her contemporaries. On her Instagram profile, the Jane Jaan actress is followed by 11 million people while on Facebook her account has 3 million followers.
With Kareena celebrating her 43rd birthday, Digital giant Netflix has given a special tribute to the renowned actress by dropping a compilation video of some of her most remembered characters from the movie that are still talked about to this day.

As the complication video begins, we see a gorgeous 21-year-old Kareena Kapoor flaunting her moves in the character of Kaurwaki from the movie Ashoka (2001). The video then proceeds to show us the actress portraying probably her most fearless and bold character ‘Poo from the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum (2001).
Following that, we see Kareena exuding glam with her sexy tight golden glittery outfit from her character of Kamini Arora in the 2006 release Don. The video then further shows the birthday girl in different avatars from her remarkable movies including We Are Family (2010) Ek Mai. Aur ek tu (2012 ) Taalash and Lal Singh Chaddha (2022). The adorable tribute video concludes with a fresh-faced Kareena seen in her latest avatar of next-door neighbour from her recently released OTT Romantic drama Jane Jaan.
Along with the video, Netflix also dropped a caption that read, “From serving good looks to being the mom next door, this Jaane Jaan always understands the assignment.”
