New Delhi: Bollywood’s renowned actress Kareena Kapoor is currently making headlines for her upcoming OTT series Jaane Jaan. The mystery thriller also marks the OTT debut of the 42-year-old actress who has already achieved immense fame in the film industry.
Alongside Kareena, the Sujoy Ghosh crime thriller also cast skilled actors like Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the leading roles. The web series, which is a Hindi adaption of the Japanese novel ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’, will premiere on OTT giant Netflix on 28 September.
Saif warns Kareena ahead of her OTT debut
During Jane Jana’s trailer launch event, Taimur’s mother opened up about her husband Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to her OTT debut and revealed that he even warned the actress during the shoot of her Netflix series.
Speaking about the same, Karnea revealed that she got intimidated seeing the punctuality and preparedness of her Jane Jana’s co-actors (Vijay Verma and Jaideep Ahlawat) and said that Saif too has warned her about it while suggesting that she better go fully prepared on the movie’s set while working with the said actors.
She further said that her husband Saif condemned her attitude of going to sets unprepared and doing make-up after reaching there.
The Phantom actor also told the actress to be on her toes while working with Jaideep and Vijay and reminded her that working with them is nothing like going on a picnic.
Saif’s connection with Jaane Jaan
When asked about sharing the film’s script with Said, Kareena laughed and asked director Sujoy, “These people are asking if I shared the script with Saif, so this particular script, would you like to reveal the suspense? ”
Sujoy quickly responded to Karneea and said that Saif Ali Khan has a connection with the movie and has now handed over his responsibility to his wife like a good husband. Later, Kareena revealed that Saif is very excited about the film’s script and is desperately waiting to watch the same. She even claimed that he has watched the film’s promo 3-4 times and is really impressed with Kareena and her co-actor’s performance in the same.
For the uninformative, Sujoy’s directorial was originally planned with Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut as the series leading cast but things didn’t go as expected and instead of Saif, his wife Kareena Kapoor ended up being part of the film.
