New Delhi: There is already a lot of buzz around Sriram Raghavan’s next film titled Merry Christmas which stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, this production is reportedly inspired from a short-film. It is going to be a fast-paced film, keeping the audience on the edge of their seat throughout. The shooting for the same was supposed to start in mid-May, however the plans were changed due to the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 across the country, which has led to lockdown in most of the states.

Taurani confirmed the news to Pinkvilla as he said, “We are looking at June. Now the planning will happen, only after the lockdown is over. We don’t have a date as yet because everything right now is shut. We can’t even shoot anywhere else as 90 percent of India is in a state of lockdown. But in the near future, maybe in a week or two we will decide on the future plan of action.” The film is expected to be shot in Mumbai followed by Pune and Goa.
